Jewelry by Tomas Edipson

Jewelry by Tomas Edipson was founded in 2003 by Swedish designer Tomas Edipson.

Born and raised in the town of Borås, Sweden, Tomas discovered his passion for jewelry design at a very young age. At just nineteen years old, driven by a childhood dream, he purchased a one-way ticket to New York City — the historic center of the global diamond trade — and began his journey in Manhattan’s legendary Diamond District.

Starting from a small booth inside what was then the world’s largest jewelry exchange, Tomas began designing and offering his creations to both jewelry retailers and private collectors. In a district long defined by multi-generational family businesses, it was uncommon for someone so young to establish himself independently. Yet his talent, determination, and distinctive eye for design quickly earned him recognition as one of the district’s most promising young designers.

As demand for his work grew, the small booth soon gave way to a more private setting. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to perfection, Tomas gradually transitioned to a private, appointment-only model, allowing him to devote his full attention to the creation of exceptional bespoke pieces. Clients were welcomed into a private office environment designed to reflect the personal and highly tailored nature of his work.

In the years that followed, Tomas collaborated with Sözer Jewelry — one of Istanbul’s most respected jewelry manufacturers — and together they co-founded Monaco Chain, a chain brand that has since grown into a global presence distributed in more than 50 countries worldwide.

Despite the international success of Monaco Chain, Tomas never lost his connection to the craft that first inspired him. Jewelry by Tomas Edipson remains his most personal pursuit — a bespoke fine jewelry atelier dedicated to private clients who value craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and a truly personal relationship with the designer.

For Tomas, the greatest reward has never been business success alone, but the lasting relationships formed with clients who, over time, have become friends and extended family.
